1. Location, destinations and navigation

Precise location is needed to calculate and follow the route. During active navigation it may be updated in the background to maintain guidance and progress.

2. Group trips and chat

The optional feature uses Apple CloudKit to share the trip code, chosen name, position, ETA and messages with people who know the code. The trip expires after 24 hours.

3. Data on the device

Preferences, recent destinations, planned journeys and random identifiers are stored locally. Technical credentials are protected in the iOS Keychain.

4. Premium subscription

Purchase, trial, renewal and cancellation are managed by Apple. SabettaWorks receives no card number or complete payment details.

5. Providers

Depending on the chosen feature, the app uses Apple services, TomTom, MET Norway, OpenStreetMap, MapLibre, Wikimedia, Overpass and European public catalogues.

6. Data we do not collect

• No advertising identifier
• No contacts, photos or audio
• No sale of data
• No mandatory account

7. Retention, security and rights

We use encrypted connections and random identifiers. You may request access, correction or deletion by email.

8. Road safety

Maps, traffic, weather and directions may be incomplete. Road signs, real conditions and authorities’ instructions always prevail. Do not use the phone while driving.
